The Firex KF30 heat alarm with battery backup is the alarm to fit in your kitchen (replaced the discontinued Kidde 4899). Designed to go into alarm at 57 degrees Centigrade, a heat detector will not cause nuisance alarms from burnt toast and steam.
Interconnectable to up to 23 other Firex or Kidde Slick mains alarms and fitting could not be easier.
The Kidde Firex (KF) series alarms are vastly improved over previous Firex alarms, offering 70% lower energy consumption and an enhanced low profile design.
The Kidde KF30 is kitemark certified to BS5446 Part 2: 2003, CE marked and has a 6 year warranty. This alarm is suitable for installation as part of a BS5839-6: 2019 Grade D2 system.
